created for likealighthouse's april drift 2025 event. i chose the "unexpected endeavors" prompt and followed this gradient tutorial for both graphics :)

the idea behind these GIFs was to kind of wink at sonofgodzilla's dark gotchard AU (which i've written for but like, diverging from her stories lol) - rinne admiring lachesis' power and beauty, a hint at what is to come...

THANK YOUUUUUUUU THANK YOU OMG i had so much fun with these!!!! coloring was a pain but i think i'm slowly getting better at coloring edits bigger than 100px hahahah! the green/blue was what i set out as my sorta complimentary palette and i'm glad it looks good!!! also so glad you noticed the fading in the green gif omg!!!

most kamen rider seasons are self contained so yes you can watch gotchard by itself! it's utterly delightful it gets a lot of hate from the fandom for frankly stupid reasons (and mostly because it has more female characters in it than kamen rider usually does; for example the initial lead villains are 3 girls, including the girl in the green gif) but i love it so, so much. i need to finish it sometime hahahahah! but i highly recommend it and you can torrent it on nyaa dot si OR i can just share my jellyfin server with you to watch it from if you don't want to torrent :)

yes omg the coloring is great!!!! editing icons vs larger sizes really is sooooo different kfksndfkjdsnfs like the way you go about things w icons to make sure they're readable and bring out the details etc etc
